The new (and old) 74 High-Leverage Diagonal Cutters at a glance

A picture is often worth a thousand words – but we’ll still outline the key differences for you:

• Handle sleeves closer to the joint: On the new model, the handle sleeves extend significantly further up, almost to the joint.
• Forged mirror slightly diagonal: On the front and back, the forged mirror is now positioned diagonally across the pliers head, rather than horizontally as before. ‘KNIPEX’ is marked on the front, and the item number ‘74 – 200/250/etc.’ on the back.
• Slimmer pliers handles: The handles appear slimmer and more elegant without compromising on stability.
• Ring groove on the back: A ring groove is now visible in the joint area – a detail that was not present on the old model.
